Update on BP (for sep '11 intake)

I'm sure all the other BP applicants got the same email but thought I would share just in case. BP sent an email today stating that they are going to start going through the applications from March 21 and will get in touch shortly after that date to begin their first round of telephone interviews.

I got the email aswell. Contacted the isle of man bp office last week about what is happening with applications, apparently their singapore office that deals with them have had tons more applications than they expected and are currently working through them and details as to interviews and stuff will be sent out soon

I applied in early February and haven't received this email, the HR Status of my application is displayed as "Application Received". I did get an email shortly after my initial application informing me that I had met the basic requirements of the role and would receive updates in due course. I contacted BP's Isle of Man Office this morning, they seem to think that the telephone interviews are done in batches, and that I should receive a call in late April/early May. I should add that I did update my CV after my initial application (late February), maybe this is why I did not receive the email.

Got another update email today. Just telling us that BP recruitment have got loads more application than expected and they are working their way through them and apologize for the delay but will get round to phone screening soon and that we are to just be patient.

was sent an email saying im getting a phone interview, anybody else getting it? and do bp let you go to gcns? the pay good? and they pay for halls?

I,ve not got it yet, no idea about gncs but hope they do let you, you'll have to check but when i lasted asked it was ?10,000 per year. They don't pay for accommodation, it comes out your salary

Normal not a matter of where they "let you go to" it's where they send you, so dont count on going to GNCS until it's confirmed

I would try to aim for Warsash if I were you. Better College, better facilities, etc...

had the phone intervierw a few days ago and they said it would probably be warsash, and got email yesterday saying i will have face to face interview some time in june !

anybody got tips? im guessing it will be similar to the clyde interview but just more formal feeling since it was more of a cha with clyde i guess

got the job! its going to be glasgow, hnd course which suits me just fine
