Yes I work for the big blue canoe company.
No I do not report things from here to them as they are quite able to come and read this stuff for themselves.

I think the sponsor companies are still coming on the Saturday. If any propsective cadets are reading this, best to call the college and check.

                      http://www.careersatsea.org/info/ open days

You could give student services at STC a ring on 0191 427 3900 but I don't think you need to book.

Been to an open day? - No I've not

I'm at the college as an ETO cadet and its a great place for engineering, well worth a visit and just up the road from Middlesbrough. The only thing that lets the college down is the high cost of staying inhalls, not good value for money.

Well I reckon I will have a trek up to suss it out.

I would be considering commuting but not to sure how sick I would get of that journey everyday. How often are you in classes? Are there say, 'free' days during the week?

Not normally, thought there may be some EKO's (early knock offs) depending on the timetable. Normmaly a full time course 9-4 most days, current cadets will be able to confirm this bit though

Also the clue is in the title OPEN Day..not Invite day
