    What tests do they do to see if your fit for watch at your eng1
    Phase 5 SPD engine cadet at city of Glasgow college. Doing a a combined motor and steam ticket.

      What do you mean by watch? As in Deck watch? Above the normal ENG1 you need to be able to see (glasses etc are fine) not be colour blind so you can tell the colours of lights and hear.... for hearing things? If you mean engine watch keeping then I have no idea, but didn't think it was any different to the standard ENG1 stuff.

      You get the old eye chart with the letters getting smaller on it, you get the ishihara plates for your colour blindness and you need to listen to static with random numbers spoken throughout in your hearing test
