Phase 4 FD Work Based Learning

We have to do a research project for our Work Based learning during phase 4, I need to decide a topic and write a proposal by the 20th and I have no idea for a topic at all, can anyone give any suggestions please? thank you'!

What are your interests? New technology? (robo-ships is a hot topic right now!) Environment and pollution prevention? (loads of angles you could take there) Sociology/people? (long term effects of long trips vs short trips on behaviour? Benefits/drawbacks of internet and social media onboard ships?etc etc) the most important thing is that it is something you are genuinely interested in, as it will be taking up a lot of your life soon!! Choose a broad area to start from and start reading around it, something may jump out at you!
