    Bad news

    Unfortunately today I've had to pull out of the Merchant Navy as I've just been diagnosed with a serious condition.
    I wish everyone else all the best at Warsash and for the future!
    You'll all be doing what I can now only dream about.

    It can't be that bad surely?! Perhaps "get well soon" doesn't quite match the seriousness, but I'm sure we all wish you well. Hopefully you'll get a pleasant surprise soon.
