1. Where it asks me for dates, should I say I'm departing in December or January? I'm not sure if I'm expected to just book new accommodation for those three weeks in January. Also, I don't want to put January and end up paying for accommodation during my Christmas break when I won't be there.

You keep the same room but have to be out of it between Dec 19th and Jan 5th; they say you don't pay for that period: as with the initial deposit, it's deducted from the monthly rent. Apparently you have to go through the whole booking and paperwork ritual in January, even though you're returning to the same room!

2. It asks for your preference between single and twin rooms. I was under the impression all phase 1 cadets were just put into twins. Is it worth me ticking the single room box?

ha ha ha, best of luck with that one! Phase 1= Twins only... spin the wheel!
You won't get a single, but you might be able to e-mail them your favourite roommate. I think they have to be on the same course; they say they try to put people in the same company together too, as well as similar age ranges.

3. This is probably just wishful thinking but I guess Clyde pays for none of the accommodation right?

tight as feck! you might want to make a Faustian pact with the Student Finance England company.

LOL no I do not think Clyde pay for the accomodation. Otherwise I would be very happy. I had a conversation with someone and all phase 1 cadets get thrown into twin rooms. which could be interesting.

But the dates should be dealt with by Clyde. As we do not know which sponsorship company we get until our first day. EEEEEK

OK, guys and gals. I've printed a booking form from the Warsash website and I've got a couple of quick questions for anyone that's had to do one of these.
