  • Warsash term dates

Does anyone know when the term in September starts? I just want to know so I can plan my summer before I have three years of being available to go onboard ship at two days' notice
I can't seem to find it one the Warsash website, maybe some of the current cadets have it on the intranet? Assuming you have an intranet...
    Thanks in advance

And two days notice is optimistic

I can only comment on the Foundation Degree Deckies.

Last year they started in the first week of September. They had their end of term exams in the first week of December. Then 2 weeks of short courses, finished on December 21st for Xmas, came back January 7th, 2 more weeks of short courses and then home on 18th Jan before joining their first ships.

Does that answer it for you HW?

yeah that'll do for now. I suppose we'll find out the actual term dates at some point, else a lot of people might not turn up

Aye, I got 9th Sept as well (HND Deck).

Does anyone know if there is a 'half-term' or long weekend kinda thing or are you working solid from Sept-Dec?

I imagine you'll get October holidays and maybe bank holidays ... but need to check you aren't doing short courses.

No Half Terms. Work through to Xmas, 2 weeks off at Xmas and then short courses for the phase 1 deckies.
