About to start in september! What is the work load like for weekends? I am a rugby referee and would like to get back to dorset as many weekends as possible. Do you reckon that this is possible?

Can you not do that where your going as most colleges prefer folks to stay around the halls on their weekend...

At Warsash, thats where you're going?, you can do whatever you like at the weekend.

Some people went home every weekend, some stayed the entire phase.

As long as you pass the end of phase exams, I can't see what the problem would be.

I can change society to Hampshire, but seeing its oonly just over the hour to get home I'd rather sstick where I am. You say they prefer their cadets to stay around their halls is there a reason for that? Or just because that's the case?

I can't say I was ever told that they preferred us to stay on campus.

The weekends are yours. Obviously studying and some work should be done, but you can do that on the train etc...

Cheers guys thanks for the help! Guess it'll be one of those things that you just judge when you get there. Do you know of anyone that took a car in their first term? I spoke to the guys at WMA and they said it was possible just you couldn't always park in the main car park?

I knew loads of people with cars.
