The first weekend

I start at Warsash on the 23rd of Jan and was wondering if anybody knew if there is anything so important that you have to stay at college for the first weekend? Also, is the paintball normally during normal college hours? as it's on the Friday but I'm hoping to get a train at 6pm Friday evening. Otherwise I'd have to get the train first thing.

I really need to get back for the Saturday so would have to book my train tickets now. I don't fancy driving for 4 hours there and 4 hours back on the Sunday if I've already driven down for 4 hours on the 23rd, hence wanting to know now so I can book the train.

I had a feeling I would be missing out on valuable drinking time so will have make up for it on the second weekend!
Do you know if the paintball is usually done before 5pm?

It's usually done early afternoon, definitely before 5.
