  • WMA. Understanding Room Mate!

Can someone please adviser how WMA allocate rooms; ie, same sponsor company? (I'm 17) HND or FND Deck or Engine together etc.

BTW. I finally enquired about space under the bed for stowing my Hobby (apart from Sailing) Electronic Keyboard and they said that a lot depends upon the "Room Mate". My Portable Keyboard although not that much longer than an acoustic guitar is not as wide but about the same depth.
I play classical & modern & at home with headphones so as not to disturb. Does anyone on the forum have a similar situation?

    Thanks

They usually try to put same courses together and same company where possible. I shared with someone on the same course but not the same company.

If you're under 18 you'll be staying in Shackleton in a special "under 18s" section. Because there's fewer under 18s you might find yourself in with anyone.

When I was there they had refurbished Blyth but not Shackleton. Blyth had freestanding wardrobes with loads of drawers, so there was space under the bunks for whatever. In Shackleton there's only built-in wardrobes, and then quite big storage boxes that go under the bunks, though this might have changes or you might get a room with two singles rather than bunks. If it's about guitar size you'll have no problem fitting it somewhere, though when you're using it you might have to just lay it on the bed.

I think that might be something worth leaving behind at the moment as you may not have time to use it...
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

Thanks GM. I take aboard your point, however it would be nice to have the option if only for a brief respite over the weekend..As the old proverb sez All work & no play makes Jack a Dull etc'.

True, but with everything going in during college and on the weekends and what not....

Also, why not take up a good hobby like diving?
