Unless things have changed from last year you should have the option to chose from a few different Solent owned accommodation blocks for phase one. Honestly...they're all pretty standard student accommodation. I was in Emily Davies for phase three and it was ok - the tiny rooms really are tiny but the mid sized ones are pretty comfortable. It's pretty basic though, don't expect anyone to be impressed if you get lucky and bring them back haha.
As for best... well that's subjective. Do you value location over quality? Or cost over location? They all play a part into making a decision.
