Just a recommendation for anyone seeking chartwork equipment, give the Discount Chandlery a try by Bursledon bridge (the one on the right as you head towards Southampton by the Fairline showroom, not to be confused with Force 9 on the left, they're expensive too). They are significantly cheaper then the Warsash Bookshop, we're talking around ?15 less for a set of parallel rules (the bookshop charge over ?30!!!!!) and if they don't have what you want the guy in the shop will happily order stuff for you. Watch out though, he likes to chat......
