Availability during olympics if starting jan 2011?

Hi,

I should be starting at warsash doing the FD deck in jan 2011. I have the opportunity to volunteer to help at the canoe slalom event during the 2012 olympics and was wondering if anyone would know what the chances I'd be available would be or if that would fall during a sea phase?

The event appears to be taking place between the 29th july and 1st august, but they want to you be able to volunteer for 10 days of shifts throughout the whole olympic and paralympic.

Sorry I know its a weird question :P

I'd ask your sponsoring company, if it's in college time it's highly unlikely they'd allow you to skip college for that long, but if it's in a sea phase they might well give you the time to do it, if you ask them well in advance (like now!)

Righto cheers, I shall have to get in contact. Sounds like it could be sketchy though!
