Halls of Residence v Private let

Well,

As the title suggests I was wondering what everyones take on this was.

Most cadets at shields i speak to tend to move out of the halls and get a flat with a few flat mates to keep costs down....... Where do we all stand on this

Phase 1 Cadets cannot do this.

And I think it would depend on costs and proximity to college.

I left the halls during pahse 1 this year. I saved around ?100 a month compared with the cost of the halls. You do need your companies permission, the letting agency even checked it was ok with our companies apparently.

Is that rite Marty? Even during phase one? I've had a gander at the Dr Winterbottom FB page and it seems it is unanimously agree that its a little bit balls.

As far as I know they are cool with you moving out as long as their is a group of cadets living together and it'll no doubt have to tick a few other boxes.
