Well i was given the choice of glasgow or shetlands but shetlands college seems really good and with fewer cadets a much better student:lecturer ratio. But im sure all colleges have there good and bad points and would have been happy with any, just anxious to finally start!!

Just after looking at the website, that place seems to have some cracker facilities in place. More companies should go to it. Same as Cork, I was there in January, brand new facilities

Im starting at the shetland school of nautical studies in september as a deck cadet and it would be great to hear from anyone else starting there in september or who is already a cadet there.
