Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
They're small and dull, you share bathroom facilities with at least 6 other people and last time I was there the heating was either off or full blast. Hopefully the work they've apparently been doing has made some difference, but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeh they're doing them up at the moment...most rooms have been done but they're still adding bits... builders in fact woke me up this morning
When we started the rooms werent ready till really late and just had the basics. Then everytime i came back to my room they'd kept adding bits so i have shelves, a mirror and a pinboard now too. They're small but they ve done them up pretty nicely. Not loads of storage though so don't bring too much. And there's always Asda if you ve forgotten anything vital. Radiators work now too!!
Oh and it only took two weeks to get a bulb for my lamp. :P But windows haven t been re done yet and they re a bit drafty. Small but cosy! Don't complain too much about the rooms because compared to the old ones we ve got it easy i think.
P.S. I ll be showing you round on sunday!!!!!!!!!-- I ve only been here a couple of weeks but yet they re still trusting me to know where more than just the refectory and the pool table is but fair enough.

Well as the accommodation is being refurbished, there isn't enough space so us Engine cadets are being put up in a place called the New Boston Hotel. There's not much space, they've packed two people into a room the same size as you get in the halls but with less storage solutions. Bags all over the place and we can't unpack as there's no space. We'll be here for around 4 weeks. I've seen the un-refurbished accommodation and I'd take that in a flash over our hotel rooms. Plus we have to get up earlier to take the minibus down to be in on time.

What a crock of ****e; Fleetwood should be taking pelters for chasing the money so shamelessly and starting courses which they don't have room for. The rabbit hutches they laughingly call the accommodation there makes the 'traz at GCNS look like the Waldorf. They ought to be knocking it down and building something new, not refurbing it; it would appear management have taken the phrase 'you can't polish a turd, but you CAN roll it in glitter' to heart.'... English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't
just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages
down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for
new vocabulary.' - James Davis Nicoll

Tbh, I'm not too fussed about the accommodation. At the end of the day, I'm there to get an education, not to live in luxury. I'd rather they spend the money in educational areas such as the workshop (which they have) than the accommodation but that's just me.

I've just moved into the new accomodation and I am really impressed. My mum was impressed too, which is a massive endorsement. The rooms are fitted with good quality furniture and have radiators that you can control. You get a little sink and a reasonable amount of storage too!
PM me and I will email pictures to people if they want to have a look.

And that is wardroom accommodation, not a JR messdeck. I hate going on Navy courses simply because the accommodation and food is so ****.I love deadlines. Don't talk to me about cuts... Or ****e food... Or bad management... Or career development... Or comedy 'attendance courses'... At least I had (before marriage) a single man en-suite room!"Crazy like wild wolves threatened by fire, send them all to the bottom of the sea."
