Silly question (budgeting)

I have a strange question but trying to work out my
Weekly budget whilst living in halls at fleetwood. How much do the washing machines cost per cycle. Is it as expensive as a launderette I.e around ?4.50 per wash.

Cant answer for Fleetwood but at STC its ?1.50 per wash and 50p per dry. no soap powder included

Fleetwood is ?1.20 per wash and 20p for a dry. You have to supply your own powder/tablets/whatever you use though.

Dunno exactly, cos I've always gone to the same room where theres 2. Never had to queue or anything though.

Iron?? What is this thing? I always just got my shirts out of the dryer hot (takes several of the 20p drying cycles to actually make anything dry, by the way) and hung em up straight away.

You can buy spray on starch from Tesco's.......
