Accomodation Question

Hi,

I am due to start in Fleetwood on the 06/02/11. I was just wondering when it comes to college half-terms are you still required to pay accomodation fees.

In the joining instructoins they include a weekly breakdown of the different phases and holidays. @ Easter it shows three weeks holidays so my question is would you have to pay the 3 weeks even if you were not there and if you dont have to pay the rent would you be required to remove all your personal items from your room and then take it all back with you after the 3 weeks holidays are up.

I would assume not as im here now and didnt have to pay for halls over xmas and we could leave our stuff in our cells.

I also saw this, you're talking about the break in april/august right? (seeing as that seems to be the only time we get off for the next 3 years =[ )

Ye. Doesnt seem like much time off but I'm sure it will just fly by and we won't even realise we haven't had much time off.

You do not have to pay for halls when you are not there, however if you stay over half term you will have to pay.
also about the time off you will get plenty, out of your time away from college which is about 19 months you will only spend around 13 at sea. the only downside to the time off is that its quite difficult to book holidays as most companies will not let you know your sea trip dates till quite late on.
