Re: Getting to Fleetwood
You don't have it too bad Ben. I have to travel from Belfast.
If I fly then everything I bring has to be within a weight limit
Anyone done this before? Do you know if sponsoring company will cover travel costs of ferry instead of flights?

Re: Getting to Fleetwood
Hi Ben.
You are sure asking sensible questions, lets hope the answers are accurate.
Saving the odd penny or two is very wise, as indeed is the effort to do so.
What you save you can spend on the real important things.
I hope you find fleetwood to your liking, and that all goes well for you.
I just have that feeling it will.
Let's hope so at any rate.
Good luck !

Thanks Beef looks like it'll be easier to get the taxi at least that way it's door to door and i won't have to drag all my stuff on the buses =]

Re: Getting to Fleetwood
Poulton is the Closest , theres No bus as such From poulton to the train station . but if you walk down from poulton to blackpool old road you can get the Number 14 which will drop you off right outside. or get on the 84 (around the corner from the station) then you could get to Fleetwood road then get on the 14 .
You cant get the Tram as there being upgraded and are only open in the summer , and during the illumination period .
Taxi might be your best bet , there quite cheap taxis in wyre borough well compared to the north east they are. any more questions feel free to ask

Getting to Fleetwood
I live in the South east so i've got a fair trek to get all the way up to Fleetwood and as i don't drive and being a Sunday i can't really be driven up. So it looks like i'm gonna have to get the train, which is fine by me as i like the train and i'll get to pass through London.
I just wanted to know if there are any stations nearby.. Poulton le-Fydle seems to be the closest can anyone confirm this? (just wanna make sure im not missing any closer stations)
If it is, how do i get from the station to the college? Taxi? is there a bus/tram service, etc?
Is anyone else getting the train up? (we could split the taxi fare)
Also if any of you know of another way of getting up feel free to suggest
I've been told getting the coach should be quite cheap, not sure how long it'll take though the train is about 5.5hrs.
Thanks
Ben
PS. if anyone else is getting the train, you might wanna book your tickets sooner as they're a lot cheaper if you book in advance ?40.50 normally ?89.80.Tags: None
