I'll be there. I'm with BP as an Engine cadet.

I will be on the FD with P&O Ferries. It seems to be coming round quite quickly now! I, have also received somewhat concerningly little information but, am hoping for the best!

We should get our joining instructions in the next week or two. I emailed them to find out.

I'll be joining Fleetwood on the FD engine course with p&o ferries. I was abit surprised at the lack of info I've received but I'm guessing everyone's busy sorting it all out. Anyway fingers crossed I'll see you all on the 12th

Do they only use SSTG now? Did you another interview with P&O ?

Not sure if other training companies use them. I think Clyde used to be be associated with p&o for the Irish route but I'm not 100% sure. I only had one interview with Sstg and was told at the end id being successful. I was then given a list of companies who were taking cadets on at that time. I haven't had any interview or contact from P&O. I'm guessing they just allow Sstg to select candidates.

Yeah that was one of the deciding factors for me selecting P&O. Although nothings guaranteed but they generally do offer places for their cadets once training is completed.

P&O I think used to use both Clyde Marine and SSTG for cadets, but now I think they only use SSTG. From the P&O cadets I knew, they seemed to get good on board training, however they were never on the ship for more than 2 weeks. This eventually meant that some cadets came back to their fifth phase quite a bit later than the others.
