2014 PDA/HNC cadets: Hows it going?

Just wondering beyond some of the "enrolment threads" how people are? how they feel the course is etc?

Course isnt too bad so far, 7 weeks in and starting the academic side tomorrow after 7 weeks of hacksawing and filing lol! Just the halls are a letdown so far!

I have been at sea for 22 years, I have now reached the dizzying heights of chief engineer and I still end up hacksawing and filing every now and then, so don’t think that you have done your 7 weeks and it’s over. :-)
