  • Accommodation - who is doing what!

Quick question for all cadets attending COG for the September '13 intake, what are the majority of people doing for accommodation? I really like the idea of a flat share with other cadets but are the halls worth a look?

Well as the catered halls are being demolished in the summer. Cadets u18 are being put in the self catered halls as far as I can remember from my interview. I was told the booking forms get sent out quite late though. So I think I will be at the riverside campus in the self catered but not to sure, what company are you with ?

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

Apparently the college has booked halls belonging to other colleges around town as well. 3rd phase cadets wont get halls and are expected to deal with own accommodation. Only 1st and 5th phase cadets will get halls due to them being unable to get flats due to short time their here.

I'm with CMT, what about you? I'm thinking of getting my own accommodation to be honest - GuinnessMan how bigs the shed and when can I move my stuff in? Hahaha sounds good! My friend went for his own flat last year and it worked out ok, think that's why I'm more interested in getting somewhere - though halls would be pretty handy if they were close enough.

That sounds so tempting I'm considering commuting to WMA from Glasgow...

Officially coming here! (providing I pass the medical and they have a place for me!)

I need to call up the college as I was informed anyone under 18 has to stay in halls..

It'll be 3 months till I'm 18 when I start and my home is 20 mins from college, hoping they will let me stay at home!
