I've read on the GCNS website about the self-catered accomodation, but can anyone on here give me more info on it? I'd like to know about bathrooms and showers, if they're shared or what, I can't find anything about this on the website, it doesn't mention any bathrooms in the flats...And if you have anything else to tell me about the accomodation, don't hesitate, I've been told self-catered is the way to go.

I have heard from a cadet already at the college that all that is changing is the name - nothing else
I would also like to know more about the accommodation - the website is quite vague.Comment

yeh at my interview the guy said that the accom at south tyneside was very bad. is it called dr Winterbottom halls of residence at shields ? i thought that gcns was bad every1 slags the lecturers of and a friend of mine who goes there said its not the best. go elsewere is what he told me .

Well when I first met the guy that was interviewing me, before my interview, he said 'We'll have you study in Glasgow, because you're from Glasgow, but you'll have to stay in the halls, to get used to living independently'."Did I tell you about my theory about sailors? hmm you could always ask them if they would kindly move you. i think fleetwoods good for deckys. i live behind it like across the field and lots of my friends go there who say its good.
