Joining instructions

Hi, has anybody with CMT got their joining instructions yet?

I have bud, I take it your still waiting?
It could depend on how early/late you sent in your forms etc.

Yes I am still waiting, and I received an email 5 days ago saying 'you will receive joining instructions soon' I thought that everyone would receive them at the same time. I sent my forms in quite late.

yeah you'll probably get them soon mate. I received mine last week.
Just a heads up though man, it wont hurt to give the halls an email to book your place for accommodation. It informs you to do so in the joining instructions but nothing is stopping you doing so now.

Give: [email protected] an email saying your with Clyde and booking your place for the halls.
They'll ask you for dates which I was unsure of so I emailed CMT and they told me. With you being deck it may differ slightly so I'd email CMT first and ask what your start and finish dates would be for phase 1 to book your accommodation.

Ok hopefully mine will come within the next few days. I wasn't sure whether I should do it yet as I haven't got my results yet and I was going to leave it as late as possible

well you can always un-book or whatever if your results didn't come in mate. Just before received my booking reference number, their exact words where:

"we are very busy for September and would appreciate your information as soon as possible as we have a new booking system"

I'd get it done as soon as you can bud.

Last thing sorry, do the joining instructions come via email or post? As the posts been and there was nothing I keep checking my emails but I doubt it will come today if I've not got an email and its already lunch

haha its fine mate, don't worry about it.
They came by email, I think they'll send you the pack once your forms have checked out. Shortly after receiving my joining pack I received (by post) the vaccination form that my gp had to sign. CMT had stamped it, copied it and put a barcode on it and its now something I must keep with my other documents/certificates.

I've received my vaccination form back with all the CMT stamps on. So the joining pack is sent via email, ok I hope it comes soon as I would have to start getting things together.

I'm going to Glasgow in September and haven't got mine yet (I was also waiting on exam results) I think we will get them soon.

I've not received anything yet either. I think I'm right in saying that engine cadets receive their joining instructions first. CMT never sent my vaccination form back to me. I know they received it though.
