Sport at Warsash.

Just wondering if there were any sports teams i coupld play in during the college phase? Mainly interested in rugby.

Solent uni has a rugby team. There's also a seemingly large american football following. You're eligible to join any of the Solent Sports Societies

How useful are the solent uni sports clubs? If they play wednesday afternoons in the BUCS leagues, then I'd have thought your best bet would to be to join a normal weekend club? That's what I was planning to do anyway...

yeah on that count it's not great. It depends how your timetable is, which will actually change every now and again. The other issue is transport; you'll quickly learn who has a car...

Right so the best option seems to be join a local team. I will have a look if there are any near warsash. If it isn't far I could go on my bike. Thanks for the help

Does anyone know of a local cricket team? I will be back in college for phase 3 roughly at the start of the season, so would like to get some game time in if possible!!
