    Hello, recieved my contract today, exciting stuff!

    Does anyone know. Theres a section which is information for US visa application. On there is has a specific vessle name/number.. Is this the actual ship i'll be on first or do they just print out the same generic information for everyone?

    It's normally a random ship companies use.

      When you do your Visa Application Maersk will send you a letter to take with you that will give the name of a ship on it and when you are supposed to be joining it. It is a generic letter that everyone gets and does not actually mean the real ship you are joining.

      If you ever have any questions then a quick call to Maersk and the person who is your liason officer can sort it out very quickly.

        The letter is just a generic one. You won't be given your ship until the end of phase 1
