Uniform

Hi, I'm starting as a deck cadet in September 2014 at Warsash.

I haven't had any information on uniform...

Does anybody know what the uniform requirements are like for Maersk or Warsash?

Is is there more than one uniform? Do they provide it?

As far as I am aware you should be provided with Uniform on arrival. If it's the same as it was in my day, you won't have to wear a college uniform for your first few days while you are on induction.

Hi,

Some time before you start college Maersk will contact you and provide you with a logon to their online uniform suppliers with a list of what you can order and they will pay for it. You sort out the sizes you need and order them online and everything is delivered to your home before you start. By the time you have your first day at college you should have all your uniform. From memory my son had to order a smaller uniform jumper, they were quite big.
