College Schedule

Hello,

I'm due to start in Glasgow August 2014 (HNC Engine) and trying to decide whether to keep current part time job after summer.

1. Is college normally on Monday to Friday or is it 3/4 days a week ?
2. Would the workload at college be too much to have part time employment as well (4+ hours per week) ?

1) Monday to Friday, 9-5 with the odd lesson off here and there

2) Depends on when you'd be working. If it's after 1800, then they won't care, however your course needs to come first and all that palaver....

Although I am at Fleetwood and not Glasgow, college is full time during the week. I do work part time and I manage 24 hours a week over 2 or 3 days at the weekend. It is hard to manage the work load but I just make sure I do all my college work during the week by staying late in the library etc then I have the whole weekend to work. I am tired all the time but I have to work to be here.
