Start College on Monday and wondering what I should have with me?
What type of bag etc? Stationery etc, all imput would be good.

Urm, can't remember exactly what I went in with on first day, but the likes of a decent pad, couple of pens/pencil/etc and maybe a calculator? Most of your first day will probably be taken up with assessments and form filling (note, don't do like one lad in my intake and spell your name wrong. Big colleges sell them, Not sure about Shetland but I imagine they will have a stationary shop too
I was opposed to the pencil case until phase 5, but it makes life so much easier

I read somewhere in the induction paperwork that they sell basic stationary from the college office. I'm taking a small selection of stuff anyway just to be sure. That guy must have been feeling the pressure to spell his name wrong on the first day!Comment

Oh, I tend to quite like "Plan for the worst and hope for the best" as well....I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....
