    Chartwork help!!!

    Hello,

    Im currently carrying charts into phase 5. After a horrendous standard of teaching in phase 3. Ive taken my charts and equipment to sea. But I just dont get it still. Any of it... If anything Im worse off now. Does anyone know of any websites? Or private tutors in Central Scotland that would be able to assist me when Im back from sea. This is thee only thing standing in my way. Please help!!!

    I'm currently at sea just now and youtube is blocked. There is someone with a very good set of videos on YT with quite a lot of the chartwork syllabus. Maybe someone on dry land can post the link.

      Hi This channel is to help Merchant Navy Deck Trainees, either at Fleetwood Nautical Campus of Blackpool & The Fylde College, where I work, or Distance Learning students or any others training all over the world. Most of the material is about Chartwork, Tides or Sailings and will help for Officer of the Watch level exam preparation and learning. I welcome feedback or emails discussing issues raised on here.           I watched these videos when I was studying for SQA, they are decent

          Can you narrow down what bit of chartwork you are struggling with?

            All of it. Ive got my notes and questions but i cant get a single answer right. Ive also got some old SQA papers... they may as well be written in Japanese. No one onboard can help me. Ill have a look at this youtube channel after my watch tonight. Thank you!
