Opinions on the role of the DSTO?

Hello

I am a recently qualified Deck officer, conducting a study into the role of the Designated Shipboard Training Officer (DSTO), in regards to the on board training of British cadets, both Deck, Engine and Electro - Technical, for my final year dissertation project. I would love to hear your opinions regarding this matter and I hope it's something you feel quite strongly about. As such, I would be very grateful if you could spare a few moments to share your thoughts and opinions on the matter. It is very quick and consists of predominantly multiple choice questions.
