What do I expect for the first weeks at college !?

Heyyy ,

I'm Joining Fleetwood with CMT on Feb the 3rd and i was just wondering , what should i expect ?
Does it take a long time to settle in ? , Is there alot of swimming you have to do in the short courses ?
What are the days like and also how many people do i expect to be in my hnc class for Jan , not many ?
If anyone could give me a briefing that'd be epic , cheers

I guess it'll always vary but for the first couple of days at least there'll be paperwork, paperwork and a little bit more paperwork. You'll also go away for 3 days (Wed - Fri) on the Cadet Development Course (CDC). They've changed it since I did it and these days I think you go to Wales and trekk about or something like that. You'll do your short courses at the very beginning or very end of the Phase, usually the beginning. There's not really a lot of swimming at all to be honest, more floating around than anything. As for class size, about 20ish is normal.

Hi Linnez, take it you heard about the mix up with the accommodation before. I was just wondering when you had been told you was starting on February 3rd as I am in the January intake at Fleetwood and I am still unaware of the start date and what will be needed other than the stuff I have read on here.
