Payment Schedule

Could any Maersk cadets send me a PM with details of how the payment schedule works, please? Things like if it's in advance or arrears, which day of the month etc. I'm trying to plan my finances and knowing when money comes in will be particularly handy for planning that first month's rent.

Alternatively, if any wma chaps could let me know if you can pay rent in arrears (unlikely I know) then that'd be great

28th of the month in arrears......deductions can be a month or so behind too

It's always (to me at least) been a point of contention that cadets get paid a month in arrears but you are forced to pay accommodation a month in advance. That and colleges (most of them from what I hear) don't seem to know and/or care in which part of the month cadets get paid by their sponsors (towards the end in most cases), so they ask for the rent about half way through the month then have the audacity to send threatening letters to half the people in halls until the wages finally roll in.

It seems to be the way the world works unfortunately. I'm playing in the BBC Proms tomorrow, but I won't get paid until 30 days later, sods law. I'm also overdue insurance money for my bike by 9 months which doesn't help...
