What a fantastic day in Liverpool today and a huge emphasis on the work done by the Merchant navy. Some Cadets had the great honour of representing the MN in the service at The cathedral and were immaculate, well done!! what a great advert for the naval services. Even more impressive was to see so many service men and women from all over the world in full uniform walking around and mingling with the public, after the events of this week it was a breath of fresh air! congratulations to all those involved a truly excellent day.

There were some trinity house cadets there. I had the pleasure of greeting one of the Canadian navy ships crew in work and serving them for the afternoon.Comment
