I've been looking at jobs posted online and I've noticed that a lot of jack up and semi sub rigs still require EOOW engineers. Does anyone know if time served on a rig counts towards seatime in your discharge boon??

HELLO! one of my friends recently done a few trips as a control room operator aboard an FPSO and he said that everyday would count as only half a day towards your seatime. I'm not sure if this is true so please dont take this as gospel. But i believe it will be the same on a rig.

MGN 92 (I think that is the right one not sure if there is a different m notice for engineers) explains what does or doesn't count as full seatime.

FPSO counts as half time would imagine it's similar.
