Columbia shipping company
So, anyone heard about Columbia shipping company? My friend told me that it's one of the best in eastern europe.

Columbia probably means CSM ship management http://www.columbia-shipmanagement.com/ - I work for them, they basically offer various services to ship owners, from full management to just crew management and everything in between. They are based in Cyprus. I have found them much easier and nicer to work with than a certain large UK cruise company...Cruise ship Captain with experience on-board Passenger Vessels ranging from 5500-150000 GRT. -
As well as managing ships on behalf of other owners, CSM also own and operate a large fleet of their own. I think they are involved in some way in the operation of around 300 ships, making them the second largest ship management company in the World (after V-ships)Go out, do stuffComment

I would have though that Maersk would have been the largest (cause they own and operate loads, plus all their little side companies as well)? Then V.Ships as the largest Ship Manager....I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

Not sure how the Borg compare in terms of size, but V-ships and Columbia are 1 and 2 in terms of ship management companies as far as I know. I don't think Maersk manage ships for anyone else.Go out, do stuffComment
