Two quick questions

I would also not bring hair dye to the ship, so start planning on get close to natural colour again or changing to a colour thatwont show at the roots so bad......the hair dye chemicals will make a mess of the sewage system and kill all the wee beasties, this will make you unpopular :-)

As for long hair, it dosent need to be too pinned down, remember you will have to wear hard hat on occasions and I can imagine too many hair grips will be pain full under a hard hat, while I don't think you need to go mad I would seriously think about a slightly shorter hair cut, one that will last and keep some sort of style while it grows out for 4 months, most seven pointynstar hair dressers are of the "short back and slap" variety.

Yeah! Did wonders for my hair and complexion! Still had oil coming out my ears 3 days later...

We don't put chlorine in the fresh water any more, silver ion sterilisation and chlorinate shower heads every 3 or 6 months....I forget which (2 / n job anyways :-) and in the PMS when due)

my hairs due in for an MOT anyway, so i'm thinking i'll just get it shoulder length, easy enough to put up without having to chop it all off. Problem solved!

We used it to super chlorinate the FW system - it had 200+ ppm chlorine in it - no way anything was alive in it!
