I had a blog of sorts, but it was quite struggle finding time to make entries. I guess I'm more of a twitter person. I used blogger from google as it was easy to link to my photos I uploaded to google picasa.Former TH cadet with experience of cruise ships, buoy tenders, research ships and oil tankers

He's got the Maritime Education Fund I think, so it's not one company. I think it's pretty rare now is this financial state - its from the government or something like that, not 100% sure haha. He gets put on loads of types of ship, I met him on a tall ship that he spent 4 months on!!
One of my other friends who has the MEF is currently on a SAGA cruise ship - they get sent everywhere on loads of different types of ships. Some of the ships they have been on sound pretty sh*t to be honest haha!
Who are you with?

As Mitch has already said there are a few listed on that page.
Mine, some of the pictures & videos seem to have been screwed up over my random server moves over the years - you can filter to just the posts about my 3 years as a cadet by clicking on (Deck Cadet) on the right of the main blog under Categories.
As for pictures, theres numerous ones on my flickr account, you can access it from the pictures at the top of my blog or; http://www.flickr.com/photos/alistairuk/page8/ or you can view some videos on my YouTube page.
Although Size4 is the most recent to finish her cadet ship so I would definitely have a read of hers.?Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn?t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.?
