This refers to the year long sea phase. When you are on a ship for 3/4 months then you have about a month or more off before you fly out to meet your next ship, how do you all spend that time?

I'm planning on being on holiday, but I'm usually pretty relaxed after a week off so will go and do something more active like finding a flatshare for 3rd phase, windsurfing and drinking.
I think some people go in for a cash in hand job...Former TH cadet with experience of cruise ships, buoy tenders, research ships and oil tankers -

At the moment on my 6weeks of before ship first week has been spent getting things prepared for joining ship and lounging around untill payday so i can do somethingMaybe I will never be
