    Hand Luggage

    Does anyone know if you're allowed any hand luggage on a marine fare ticket?

    I've received my ticket via email but it doesn't mention hand luggage and I had assumed we'd be allowed to have some, i.e. a laptop.

    I didn't want to start a whole new thread on this as I thought it may fit in here, if not though I'll happily remove this post.

    Of course you are! You need to keep your portfolio and all seafaring certificates within it though, in case your luggage goes missing.
    I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....

      Cheers, I thought as much - it would've been strange if we weren't! As I said I just couldn't see any mention of it or any limits on it.

      I've made sure my training folder and all other documents are in it also.

        Most airlines won't accept hand baggage over 7 kg.
        I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.....
