Can anyone recomend a model of casio scientific calculator.
Which one will be best for college?
I have not done maths since my GCSEs in 2000 and think technology has moved on a bit since the one I used back then!
A model number would be good and one that is fairly simple with a display that shows you what you have done?
    Thanks guys.

      I prefer this one...
      http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-FX-115-MS ... 77&sr=1-35

      (this looks similar: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-FX-85-ES- ... B000A1LNP0)

The way you have to type in fractions on that newer Casio one is so annoying.
...never really sussed out how to work the integration button on this one though.

it does look slightly easier on this one:
      http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-FX991ES-F ... p_office_2
...but the input and display of some things is inferior to older model calculators (i.e. the other ones on this post)

In exams you get slightly simpler ones. Here's an example approved list:

The only thing I have to work out on the 991 is how to get it to show answers as decimals - it shows answers as fractions by default which means pressing another button to convert it.

I don't know about it, but on my old Casio you pressed abutton with "S => D" on it (or something looking similar above the "AC" button)

Ah sorry, misread you comment, that would be the button you're on about to convert it. I don't know about changing it to default.
