Hi folks,
As we are all aware, the new Cadets begin they're voyage on the high Seas of educationat the start of next month at various Colleges and Universities.
I start at LJMU on the 9th of September and have recently received my joining instructions. I enrol on the 12th but on the 15th we have to attend what appears to be a number of testing events which are as follows: Maths Diagnostic, Formula Student & The CAT Centre Experience. Its been 7 years since I done any in depth Maths and to be thrown in to what I assume to be an examination enviroment is really quite scary.
What are these tests ?
What to they decide ? (I assume its to get a grasp of your current level of understanding in the subject, could it count towards deciding your place in the course in maybe a set or group format)
What can I do to prepare ? (Any sites you can reccomend to brush up on some stuff)
