Bibby skype interview tomorrow MEF cadet

Hi

I have a skype interview with bibby tomorrow, the sponsorship will be through MEF as I have previously been a cadet and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what kind of questions I will be asked?

It will be similar to the interview you will have had when you went for the first cadetship, I would imagine they will have a certain degree of interest in why you didn't complete the first cadetship as obviously they will see a risk that you might not finish again.

You will need to be relatively open and honest with them about it. Ultimately for industry questions etc your in a better position to answer them than a first time applicant.

Lee and Julie at Bibby are great, just be honest and up front with them

I did the same interview last year (I got the cadetship) and the one thing I'd do differently would have been to have had some flash cards on the desk in front of me covering my selling points and personal points (I got a little tongue tied!)

Don't allow for any drops in the conversation and you should be fine as its a relatively short interview, remember to dress smart and to clear any clutter from the room though, preferably somewhere you won't be disturbed.

From memory I got asked briefly about myself, why I wanted to be a cadet, what I knew about them, what I currently did, transferable skills etc. There weren't any questions I wasn't expecting and as you've done this previously elsewhere you should be able to talk at length on certain things which will limit the number of questions you get asked

If not as above you will need to have a good answer ready for why you didn't complete the first cadetship and why it will be different this time.
