What day are you arriving at your college accommodation?

I thought this would be a good general question that people might find helpful when filling in accommodation booking forms...

I suppose most people will put down the September the 6th date as the date of arrival, as that's when the training official starts for most people this year (excluding the electro cadets at STC), and it's the week of familiarisation before the "lessons" actually begin on Monday the 13th

So when is everyone arriving and paying their accommodation from?

Sat 21st August, HNC Engineering at GCNS starts with fimiliarisation on 23rd August. Staying Self catered.

At Warsash I thought it was the Sunday before the start of training date, which in this case is the day before. But I'm not sure so will look at the paperwork again.

I've got to be at South Shields on Sunday 5th September (any time after 14:00) to register for the halls, and pay the ?100 bond. College registration begins on the Monday 6th. I dont know if this is when lessons start or whether the following week is this familiarization thing.. maybe South Shields doesn't do this?

I'll be starting as an ETO HND cadet on the 6th at Shields, I've been told to arrive after 1400 on Sunday the 5th.
