    I need help preparing for a second interview! Any advice?

    Hello from sunny Greece,

    I'm Ina...I'm a licensed deck officer and I have applied for Apprentice Deck Officer position at Celebrity Cruises.
    Next week, I have my second phone interview by Port Captain, my first interview went better than I could have ever expected. But,now, I'm so stressed cause I don't know what he is gonna ask me...he is American and I'm afraid that i'm not gonna understand him.
    I have no idea what he will ask at the second interview. Has anyone gone through something similar or does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

    When I went for my 2nd interview with CMA CGM, the guy was german, and I have an Irish accent so I was thinking the same but it didnt seem to be a problem. Captains are probably used to different accents, and have to work with them, so shouldnt be a problem me thinks.
    With my 2nd interview, i was asked a lot about the company (new builds, new technologies, history etc), I was also asked a lot about life at sea, and what I thought it entails

      Thank u so much for ur help...
      Actually,the recruiter have already asked me those things...that's why i have no idea what else they're gonna ask me!!
      By the way, u are still working for CMA CGM? I was working on CMA CGM ELBE...

        To be honest, I got the same questions really on my 2nd interview and my 1st interview. Just the 2nd I needed a bit more information,a dn a bit more about myself and how i would cope etc. No mate I am starting in September, joining my first ship in February

          That's awesome...so congrats for ur new job...for ur new beginning...It's a long and challenging journey...and I wish u success with it...Hope u?ll have a good time onboard!Try to make the difference...and work hard to achieve your goals!
