CMT Interview Reserve

I had my interview with Clyde Marine Training on 29th April and 2 weeks later (12th May) I received a letter stating that they would like to keep my details on file until they had confirmed recruitment requirements from all the sponsoring companies.

Does anyone have any past experience of this and know roughly how long it could take?

I had an interview on the same day as you and got the same response. I got my offer through on the 29th of this month so I'm guessing yours should be through fairly soon. Don't be afraid of emailing them because they are quite helpful.

Let's hope so. I emailed them shortly afterwards and they said there's no telling how long it could be, I just had to be patient. If I don't hear anything in the next couple of weeks I'll fire them another email and see what's what.

Yeah I got the same response after my interview at the start of the year. I waited about a month then emailed them regarding any updates and got a helpful reply letting me know that as of now there is no update but they will keep me informed then got my offer through a few hours later.

I got the same response. I had my interview at the end of March, received a conditional offer about 7weeks later. Like the others have said if you're concerned email or call them, when I have contacted them they have been more than helpful and also quick to deal with my queries. I hope you hear something positive soon.

It's reassuring to know that I'm not alone in this situation and the longest you've waited is 7 weeks, so there's no need to panic yet. I'll be sure to keep the forum updated and let you know if I hear anything.

No bother

I wouldn't panic too much, you've passed the interview with Clyde so it's just a case of waiting now. If I was you I would still keep Emailing/phoning once in a while, shows your keen and also stops you worrying about the offer getting lost on it's way to you. Everyday after my interview I was checking my email inbox/spam near enough every hour I was awake to be certain incase I missed anything. Then felt reassured once I had contacted them to ask incase I had missed or deleted it accidentally. I'm sure you will hear soon!

Had the "reserve" response after my interview on 27th March, still waiting on a reply, in Spain atm will be emailing them whyen i get back plus phoning them to double check.
