I'm saying if send letter of my application with all possible information an application would ask for in an envelope to each company.
Would they accept that?

It depends - cadetship's these days receive a large number of applications, most recruiters are likely to either ignore any application that comes through an unofficial channel or reply telling you to use the online form (if you're lucky).

You could look at it from the point of view of, if an applicant can't be bothered filling in your application form online - are they really that serious about wanting a cadetship with you?

Ideally, companies would be trying to attract you - but I'm afraid the days of having to try hard to attract cadets are long gone!

I found speaking to people helped. When I struggled with getting the Anglo Eastern form to co-operate, I spoke to them and got sent an 'editable' pdf copy, which I could alter to make enough space for certain bits.

Generally no. I tried the same tactic but I only got responces when I applied through the official channels.

Sorry pukkall, I'm a bit confused by your post but gather you are finding it frustrating entering the data in different formats for each application?

If so I would say I'm afraid that's how it is and if you don't follow what is required by each application then you will likely be rejected on that basis alone, the bottom line being it's going to take a while but enter each application to that organisations requirements.

just as a side note I would get someone to proof read anything you submit to check it's grammatically correct, I'm not nit picking here but just trying to help.

Hi everyone,
I have my CV and personal statement ready as well as a pdf of all my qualifications I have so far.
I am finding It really hard to enter all of this information onine as some of the websites.
If I write individual cvs for all the company's as well as a personal statement a picture of myself and all the information that's I've gathered that a multiple of the company's need such as as my insurance number and references from my college nautical and sailing teacher as well as my head of year and principle.
Would it be work posting everything to the companys?! Or is that a waste of time. As before technology became a big thing and made everythig so complicated this would be the way you would apply to the sponsoring company's.
Also could anyone plesse reply with other useful informationm
