BP - Anybody replied and heard from them?

Maersk handled my application quickly and within a few days I was at an interview, but I'm yet to hear anything from BP. Thinking it may be bad news .

No, BP don't close until 8 weeks after 24th feb (opening time for applications) so they won't get back to anyone until after that. The first stage is a telephone interview but that won't be until at least Mid May time I presume.

They sent me a mail one month ago saying that I meet the requirements they would come back to me in due course , but still waiting.

Nothing yet. I received the same email but nothing since. I will probably give it another couple of weeks before chasing it up.

After I applied online I sent an email to them asking what their process timeline was going to be. They said they would short list candidates after the 25th (April) and contact them in due course.

I myself have heard nothing as of yet, but if successful I would expect to hear something this month. I believe the first stage is a phone interview.

I received an email from BP dated 3 days ago. It read 'You have recently applied for the Trainee Officer program. Please kindly provide more details of your academic results and a detailed CV. We are still reviewing all application and will notify candidates once the process is completed.' I don't know if that helps anyone?

I did not receive that email.

I hope it is because my original application contained already a detailed CV and academic information.

I suppose we should get an answer very shortly.

I received an email on Friday telling me that I am invited to participate in a phone interview, and that if I were successful I would then be invited to attend a face to face interview at their offices on the IOM.

Did anyone else get this email?

I logged in to the BP online recruitment site and my status has been updated to 'Application no longer under consideration'. Might be worth a check.

They have just sent me an email asking me to interview. I thought i had been declined as they took so long to get back so i accepted an offer with carnival. Just had to tell them thr truth and say i couldnt go with them.
