  • Warsash Sept. 2014 - Hadley Shipping

Received an offer after an interview with Anglo-Eastern the other week with Hadley Shipping Company as my sponsor. I'm over the moon and quickly accepted.

Is anyone else starting in September 2014 at Warsash with Hadley too? Or has anyone on this forum worked with them before? Would love to get some more info on top of what i've already found!

    Thanks, Gingey95

Congrats! I'm with AE, although I'm sailing with DOF.

From the digging I've been able to do, they appear to own bulk carriers and apparently one or two container vessels too. Unfortunately I can't really comment on what they're like to work for - although I'd imagine the crew are most likely going to be either eastern European or asian.

Have a look at the Warsash Maritime Academy - September 2014 facebook group when you get a chance too! https://www.facebook.com/groups/WarsashCadetsSept2014/

Are you doing the FD, HND or HNC?
Pointy bit is the front, blunt bit is the back... Simples!

    Will work for money/sea time.

      Hi all,

I've also got an offer for Hadley, FD at Warsash, haven't accepted it yet though. I'm afraid I can't provide any more info on them though...

I'm doing an FD Deck Cadetship with them. I've found photographs of their 4 vessels and have found out a lot more info about them since my first post. I'm really quite impressed so I'm even more ecstatic about my offer!

These are photographs of the ships

They're a small family owned firm that has been around for 87 years. They own 3 bulk carriers and have recently purchased a container ship. The links to the pictures provide the location of where the photos were taken and they seem to travel all over including the Mississippi river, the Gulf of Mexico, the Sea of Japan and the South China Sea.
