hello mate. I have never heard of NYK before, and having done a bit of research into them, I've learnt that they only take cadets from colleges in the following countries: Phillipines, India, Croatia, Romania, Ukraine, China, Vietnam, Russia, Indonesia, Japan and Bangladesh. You could try looking at my old company Knutsen, they joined forces with NYK back in 2010 and formed a new shuttle tanker company called KNOT. However your chances may be pretty thin, they haven't employed a British Officer in quite a few years, and when I was with them they were cutting back on Norwegian officers as well, in favour of Filipino's.Comment
